Hand Dancing in My Amed Beach Hotel

Let’s grab some songs from my archive and have a little hand dancing party in my hotel room by the beach. We’re in Amed, Bali. This is how I spent a rainy afternoon during Bali rainy season. Stay inside, shuffle through my old songs and let the body move however it wants to. Usually, my body expresses predominately through hand movement. I love being on the floor. When I was playing around as a stripper in my twenties, I had the most fun sliding around on the floor…pretending to be a snake. A slippery little snake (hehe….anybody know that reference?). Now I find dancing to my own music is one of the most satisfying feelings in my life. Moving to sounds that I created is like wearing custom fit clothing. It feelings perfect inside of me and always, without fail, lifts my mood. It’s my own custom love potion to fall in love with life again. Love your own creations.
