Early Life and Education

Born and raised near Seattle, Cha Wilde spent her childhood immersed in storytelling, dancing, playing in the woods, and creating art. Often the new kid in school, she found solace in libraries and close relationships with teachers. Her passion for learning led her to Scotland, where she earned a Master of Theology from the University of St. Andrews. Her studies focused on the spirituality of rebellious women in the ancient Mediterranean world and the Divine Feminine. She started sitting in women’s circles and exploring her spirituality at the age of 16. Leaving her parent’s home, she felt called to a life serving women.

Nomadic Lifestyle and Daily Practices

Cha Wilde currently lives a nomadic lifestyle, traveling the world and embracing freedom, creativity, and connection. Her solo travels as a musician, painter, and novelist have taken her through Southeast Asia, where she drew inspiration from vibrant landscapes and cultures.

Her practices include Morning Pages journaling, Tibetan Buddhist meditation, Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga, Internal Family Systems therapy, and vocal exercises. These routines help her cultivate space for Self energy and creative expression.

Career

Music

Cha Wilde began her music career in 2018, performing original songs on stage and releasing her debut EP, Into the Wilde, in 2019. She has since released 4 studio albums and over 50 singles, including The Sound of Freedom (2020), Warm Enough to Be Barefoot (2021), and Love & Freedom (2022). She writes, records, and produces her own music using guitar, piano, and Ableton Live. She travels the world with portable music equipment and films YouTube vlogs to document her creative process.

Musical Style and Influences: Cha Wilde’s music blends folk, indie-pop, and electronic elements, weaving together themes of freedom, love, and transformation. Her lyrics explore personal growth, emotional healing, and spirituality. Fans describe her vocal style as soothing and ethereal, complemented by intricate melodies and layered production. Her work is inspired by artists such as John Mayer, Florence and the Machine, Oh Wonder, PLUM, ODESZA, Alison Wonderland, and Kygo.

Visual Art

Wilde’s paintings are characterized by vibrant, happy colors and abstract styles. Initially a hobby, painting became a key part of her creative process, often serving as artwork for her music covers. She has sold her paintings to collectors and occasionally transforms them into clothing and home decor pieces.

The Treasure Box

The Treasure Box was Wilde's Seattle warehouse art studio where she painted, made music, and hosted ecstatic dance parties and yoga classes. The space featured an aerial swing suspended from the ceiling and served as a creative retreat for Wilde during the COVID-19 pandemic. It was also where she filmed music videos and lived part-time as her artist loft.

During this period, Wilde grew her online audience significantly and began earning six figures through art sales, online memberships, and patron support. Her time in the Treasure Box allowed her to build the confidence needed to perform consistently and connect with a global audience.

Yoga

Cha Wilde has been training with master yogis and teaching internationally yoga since 2011. She’s trained in Baptiste Power Vinyasa, Yin, Hatha, and Ashtanga Vinyasa styles of asana. She also thinks it’s hilarious that the first thing she did after graduating university was pick up her certification as a Laughter Yoga Leader. She loved teaching in studios but since COVID she has been online, guided her worldwide audience and private clients through chakra-based healing programs, women’s circles, and retreats. She also finds pleasure in filming yoga videos, moving her body to her own music and demonstrating the beauty of flow.

Photography and Filmmaking

Before transitioning fully to music and coaching, Wilde worked as a professional photographer and filmmaker. She founded two photography brands: The Happy Film Company, specializing in family portraits, and Chamonix Films, which created marketing videos for entrepreneurs and small businesses. She also worked as a wedding photographer in Hawaii and a women's portrait photographer, focusing on fashion, boudoir, and nude portraits early in her career.

Coaching & HEALING

Her coaching and healing work integrates somatic healing, Somatic Buddhist meditation, and Internal Family Systems therapy to help women unleash their creativity and sensuality. She understands the craziness and chaos of living with many passions and big dreams. She’s found a way to integrate all the parts of her personality into one brand — constantly discovering new ways to weave her various art forms together. This is something she loves teaching, especially since her method brings peace and freedom.

Social Media Challenges

Wilde’s online presence grew significantly, reaching up to 250,000 subscribers on TikTok and 90,000 subscribers on YouTube. However, several of her social media channels were shut down due to community violations (being too sexy and accidental nip slips), prompting her to rebuild her audience again and again. At this point, Cha’s channels have been canceled seven times. She continues to rebuild and explore new ways to express and connect with her audience online.

Personal Life

Cha Wilde is deeply influenced by spirituality and personal development. She practices Tibetan Buddhism, Vipassana meditation, and Internal Family Systems therapy. Her upbringing by an environmentalist father and a kinesiologist mother instilled in her a love for nature, movement, and holistic wellness.

Wilde is half American and half English. Her father is a British environmentalist and explorer, and her mother is an American physical therapist, kinesiologist, and Feldenkrais practitioner. The combination of her parents’ professions has led Wilde to be deeply aware of and connected to both her body and the planet. This connection serves as her source of grounding and spirituality. Her parents had her traveling the world alone from a young age. Her experiences as an exchange student in France and Spain, deepened her love for colorful cultures.

She describes herself as a highly abstract yet grounded spiritual being who delights in sensual movement, poetic expression, and creative rebellion. Her mission is to inspire introspection, challenge paradigms, and awaken others to their inner freedom.

Wilde values balance and duality, living with polarizations and learning to integrate many passions into one smooth flow supported by a business that sustains and celebrates them all. She practices essentialism and minimalism, maintains a vegetarian diet, and loves routine and structure as tools to support her wild freedom and creative flow. She treasures deep presence, curiosity, and childlike wonder, while her wildly vivid imagination and wide emotional range serve as the palette for her art.

Wilde has been married a couple times and lives a bohemian polyamorous lifestyle. She identifies as bisexual and has been very experimental with psychedelics. She loves being naked, swimming in the ocean, joyrides, and feeling the wind on her skin. She’s always inspired to write about falling in love, music festival adventures, running away into the wilderness, her fantasy land of pirates and mermaids, and the sparkling magic she finds as she wanders through the celestial landscape of the woman’s inner world. She’s here to explore, experiment and teach what she learns along the way.
